Got any big plans or hunts planned?

I've got two great elk tags, antelope, general deer, and hopefully upland birds mixed in.

I'm hoping to hunt White-tailed ptarmigan for the first time with my Brittanys.

In January have a weekend quail hunt scheduled in southern GA. Love watching the dogs work.

I drew a archery only es elk tag in a prime area New Mexico Sept 15-24.
Grouse/quail opens Sept 1st
Migratory birds around the end of September

As a resident you can buy general tags otc for elk and deer, but I was lucky enough to draw a great bull tag in a limited qouta area. Going to try and hold out for a 330 or better.

I've only hunted in NM for quail twice, but it's such a cool place! Bumped into a big herd of elk looking for mearns in January.

Last year was the first time I ever hunted. It only took me 49 years, but I am looking forward to trying it again this year.

We hunt the south central area of WY around Baggs. Sadly the winter kill decimated the deer and antelope and really put a dent in the elk so we are just going to be coyote hunting and playing cards in the wall tent this year. we have been over there camping a few times this year already and where we would see upwards of 100 antelope in certain areas we saw only 5 and zero doe/fawn pairs. Going to be bad for a couple years.

Yes the antelope had a really rough winter. I've never seen so many dead between rocksprings and rawlins before.

I'll be going to Texas for deer and hogs.

Doves and quail here in Oklahoma. Probably deer here too.

Have a MT resident deer “A” tag, elk “A” tag, antelope “A” tag and two WT “B” tags. Only going to fill the antelope and one other “A” tag. Need to fill my freezer. MTG

I'll be limited to NY, NJ, CT and NH.
But still, I am very excited to spend time in the field or swamp.
Meanwhile I do my best to keep her busy...
