That does have potential, much better than using the bored out F800 twin. I hope BMW allows Husqvarna to use their own engines in the bigger Huskies as well.

I like it. Of course, I ride an XChallenge and the Strada is pretty close to an XCountry.

And while the detractors will say it is simply a rebadged XCountry, I would say:
1) The XCountry was a pretty good bike, albeit not commercially successful;
2) The Strada is far better looking than the XCountry;
3) It doesn't have the hokey airshock; and
4) It apparently has a bit more HP.

I think that bike could fill the "urban bike" niche that's somewhere between motards and heavier street-biased DS bikes like the Versys/Strom.

But if they plan to price it above 8 grand . . . good luck. That didn't work out too well for the G650X bikes.
