I have a 2000 superduty with 35-12.5-16 I will be moving up to 39.5 irocks soon. My problem is I can hardly turn the tires now in a parking lot. I think my pump is about junk. However i think even when I replace that I wont have the steering I want with 39" tires. Who has any input on this. I ran toyotas in the rocks for years and always thought it would be a good upgrade but never did it. This truck is heavy so I want all the help I can get. This truck is my daily driver rock crawler long range tip and towing my camp trailer.

ram assist driving

I have a DD w/ ram assist steering been using it for about 10 yrs . I drive a lifted suburban on 40s, I have a d60 in the front w/ a locker. I've had problems too, broke the steering box, destroyed the pump, I also use a cooler w/ the steering setup , I don't have hydroboost , but that still would not be a problem .
What you want to do is great.

I've been considering one up offroads setup... It's a new front diff cover. Not sure if its high enough and out if the way for wheelin tho

I have looked at that style. I'm just not sure I want to hold my steering on my front diff cover.
