I have a ( possibly dumb) intake question?

I have an 04 tundra and just installed a scangauge II the other day. I have noticed the when I am driving around town, stop and go traffic, my intake temp is significantly higher than the temp outside. On avg, the intake temp has been 20 to 25 degrees higher than the outside temp. So my question is, would wrapping the air box and intake tube with some type of heat reflective material help with intake temp at all? Does the heat from the engine bay affect the air intake temp? If so, then blocking out some of that heat should make the intake temp cooler, right? In theory it makes sense. Then again, a lot of stuff makes sense in my head but doesn't translate into the real world.

Some sort of lost...
Waste of time and energy imo. On all of my rigs the intake temps drop very quickly once I'm moving again and moving more air. Even if you wrap the intake, it's still going to heat soak under the hood.
