I need a new stove

I like the three burner concept but I prefer to have my grill and stove seperate. 2 reasons: having the grill in the stove means the stove gets messy with drippings and needs to be cleaned more often. And, that compromised grill surface is neither big enough nor hot enough to do any proper grilling.

I'm anticipating the release of this which is perfect for what I'm looking for:

I grill with this which is very high quality, easy to clean, and easily hits 600-700deg which means you can properly sear and grill like you would at home. No compromise for camp cooking. Also, it's not majorly affected by wind so the temps stays pretty consistant. http://www.campingworld.com/shopping/item/stainless-steel-mountable-grill/37764

These stoves are strange to shop for because so many of them are made in the same factory in China. Not saying that to start some long winded discussion, but it does somewhat make shopping for these stoves a little easier. If you shop around for these types of stoves you can't help but notice so many of them look the same. They are the same. The only differences might be the knobs or the name on the lid.

Somewhere in China there is a factory making these units for Brunton, Primus, TexSport, Coleman and now Campchef. They just press out the appropriate lid and away they go. According to our contact at Campchef, the primary difference between these stoves is the materials each brand has chosen to use. Campchef does use stainless steel for the decking of the stove which will make cleaning a bit easier.

The only complaint we've heard at our store is the grill section of these stoves gets pretty gnarly to clean. Any time you have raw foods dripping on burners and hot surfaces, you're bound to create some work.

Hope that helps.
