Thanks for your reply.
Due to the fact that the delorme 7.0 will not consistently save my files I really want to save them some where else and be able to bring them back to delorme 7.0 and replace them to my hand held unit as I need them. On the delorme forum I have tried to follow other members instructions on how to save the bread crumbing files and points of interest files as a document that can be read by other mapping programs, but all I got from those trying to help me was more questions and abbreviations that I dont understand so I gave up. Now I have a few big "projects" that I have been working on and I need some help. Using Google maps and earth along with my delorme 7.0 would also be very helpful and effective I believe with the projects I am working on. So if there is anyone with any experience and or interest in helping an non computer savvy Diesel mechanic that loves cooking dutch oven and is willing to use his skills to help any one who helps him please reply.
It would be great if you could come to my home and show me with my equipment.
Thanks again

i'm nowhere near mesa to be able to help you in person. i have the 6.0 version of topo usa and overall have no problems although it hides all the saved files somewhere when i use it on a vista drive machine.. have not figured out what the hell happens to them.

but i am kind of guessing that you may have to convert track files from google to something that the topo can use.. maybe from .kmz to .gpx? is that an issue you're having? i'll look into that more.

or link me to your threads on delorme forums so i can read up and see the issues.

My threads on delorme are both very old and embarrassing. my main issue I think or maybe you could call it the wall I hit is trying to figure out what the heck these are .kmz to .gpx. Well what I want to do is send track files both ways, from google to delorme and delorme to google. If you could help that would be great. Where are you located?
