Congratulations. I passed my Tech and General in the same sitting as well. I think I missed one question between both exams. That day, I started studying for my Extra. I stopped shortly there after.

All I can say is WOW, what a learning curve stepping up to the Extra. They are not messing around with those questions. I don't see the Extra in my future.

Congrats, i passed my tech and general in one sitting.

4th attempt at Extra still not it yet. Only real reason i want to upgrade is to get the 2x2 callsign

Was this recently? If so, CONGRATULATIONS!
You and Rambrush have each done something I honestly can't imagine doing. I took all four of my tests beginning back in 1975 and passed each in a single sitting starting with the Novice class.... Twenty-odd years later after letting that license lapse, I had to start over and reached Extra over a course of about three years. Taking tests is never fun, but it's been worth it.
Testing twice in the same day for consecutive licenses is ambitious......No doubt you guys will get the last of them.
Way to go!

Edit: Same tip of the hat to you 24HRS!

Yeah, they want you to really earn that 2X2 call sign....be thankful you don't have to pass a 20 wpm morse code test as well, like some of us did :victory:

Thanks yes sitting and taking those tests were a challenge.
I have now ordered up the ARRL test guides and looking at the CD's that Gordon puts out.

Yeah, no kidding on the code.....I remember my Dad hammering me to get to
5 wpm for the Novice....that was enough! I think this was the key reason why I didn't get relicensed earlier. When my Dad called me and told me they had dropped code...It wasn't too long after that I took my Tech test. He called me a "no code, appliance user General" for a while. Once I got my first DXCC and rebuilt an old amplifier for him (something he couldn't do), he backed off a bit.....All in fun.
