I've been wanting to get licensed for a while now but never got around to it. Well, today I finally took the test and passed. Woo Hoo.
I purchased a radio a couple weeks ago (FT-8800R). I've ordered all the other odds and ends from universal-radio.com. Wouldn't you know it, the coax is on backorder. Ugh.
Anyway, will likely be working on the install Monday or Tuesday. I'll have to buy some coax locally and get it all hooked up. Then the real learning begins...
