I saw this Unimog for sale in NW Montana

Disclaimer: I don't know the owner of this rig or anything about it, it sits in the lot of diesel repair shop I used to frequent. I haven't taken any of my vehicles to that shop in years. I have no interest in purchasing the vehicle myself, proceed with your own diligence and care.

I am not a Unimog aficionado, so I don't know what I am looking at. I look forward to learning what it is...

The area code is 406. I hope the moderators will forgive that the price is obscured by the windshield wipers. I couldn't see it at all. They failed on the signage side of things.

A quick zoom on the photo shows 36 something in the price. Amazing the cost of underpowered Euro trucks in the states; keeps making me want to try and ship a few over.
Shiny, been painted. Wonder if that's a good thing or is it hiding something

If you can PM me the VIN, I can get your the data card, that will tell you more about what it is.

It has a front BAUPLATE and hydraulics at least, what would be your plans for it?

I'll see if I get up there sometime when the gate is open. It isn't real close to my home.

I don't have any plans for it, just sharing it in case someone else has an interest.

I drive by that Unimog every day. It's at North Lake Diesel. If anybody needs specific photos or anything else, I'd be happy to stop by there. I'm home until this Sunday, then heading back to North Dakota for work for 2 weeks.

I've been looking for a unimog....I live in Kalispell and have never seen this, I will have to see if it is still there!

Pretty amazing that MB sold the U500 in North America for less US dollars than it is priced in Europe in euros (even disregarding VAT). I'm surprised and disappointed so few sold, considering the number of people that say online they'd buy a new Mog if they sold them here. Glad I got one.

Yes, it is at North Lake Diesel between Somers and Kalispell. It is maybe 1.5 to 2.0 miles north of the White Oak stop light.

It was still there this morning when I drove by.
