Hi all,
My wife and I currently live in a 1978 Airstream that we completely gutted/renovated. We tow with a F-250 6.2L. Anyway, some fellow-nomad friends are taking a Baja trip this winter and we'd like to join them, but our rig is a bit too long/large/heavy. We're not 100% sure that we want to live in a truck camper full-time, so I don't think we want to purchase one for potentially only one trip. I was thinking if I could find someone amenable to it, about trying to rent a lightweight truck camper for a month or two. We would of course have to work out pricing, paperwork/legal stuff and insurance coverage, but I thought I'd put a feeler out there to see if anyone is interested. Anyway, here are the details:
Trip Date: February 2017
Trip Length 1-2 months
Trip Destination: Baja California
Camper desired: Lightweight popup that will fit in our 2011 f-250 shortbed
We'd prefer to work out a deal with someone in Southern California or Arizona. If you're interested, please get in touch!
