Icon Vehicle Dynamics has recently introduced an IFS suspension line for 2007 and newer GM and Chevrolet 1500 pickup trucks. Options put the suspension package price between $1800 and $4200, plus labor to install. The bolt-on suspension swap is easy enough for home mechanics to attempt. No word on how the new suspension affects the vehicle carrying capacity. Towing capacity is unaffected.
