Idaho Sunday Drive

Whew...

Michelle and I took a "Sunday Drive" round trip:
From Idaho Falls
to Dubois
to Island Park
to Ashton
to Flagg Ranch
to Jackson
back home to Idaho Falls

Yes, this can all be done in one day, but it doesn't leave a ton of time to stop and smell the flowers.

The weather was beutiful and we didn't encounter any rude people or chipped windshields along the way (unlike kcowyo''s trip). However, i resemble kcowyo's remarks on fat people, or am i just big-boned??:REExeSquatsHL1:

We stopped at Indian Lake, Loon Lake, Grassy Lake, and Jackson Lake along the way and were treated to the breathtaking views we have come to love in our "backyard".

We ate at Bubbas in Jackson for some pretty tasty BBQ. :eatchicke

Enjoy the pics!

Excellent Bear!

Weren't all of those lily pads something? I can't recall seeing anything like that around here before. And Bubba's is a long time favorite, good call for eats.

And I'm gonna have to go with you being big-boned. ;)
Actually my comments were a tribute/direct rip-off of a Bill Bryson commentary, whose book I was reading that weekend. It was so rude and cruel, I found myself cringing and laughing at the same time.

Love the photos, love the area. :clapsmile

Wow! Great trip you packed a ton in!
I am a huge fan of Bubba's and usually find myself there everytime I get to Jackson.

I've never seen them to that extent. I guess the long winter and SHORT spring let them last a while longer instead of "burning off". Either way, it made for a neat experience.

Oh, and Bubbas kicks butt! Their beans ROCK! Of course, Michelle paid for it later...:hehe:
