In progress of buying trailer parts- HELP NEEDED.

Im starting to get work done on the trailer (M1101) and am at a stand still with what aluminum to use. Im pretty sure i would like to use type 5052 aluminum at 2" but am not sure on the thickness. The 5052 will be tig welded mainly and riveted in some sections.

So my question is how thick should i buy on the 5052, 2".
And also id buy 5052, 1.5".

I suppose it depends on what part of the trailer you need the aluminum for?

roof top tent. needs to support at least 450 lbs. i plan on having atleast a support in each corner of the trailer (4) but am flexible to use (5) vertical supports.

4 posts, 2" I would think you would be fine with a 8-10 gauge thickness.
