Hey guys, I'm in the early process of designing a custom-fabbed offroad trailer to tow behind a 2nd gen tacoma. I've gotten the general design I'm wanting (still fine tuning a couple different points) but I need some input from those who have actually used a trailer before. Here's a quick screencap of the work in progress:

It's still in very early stages of mockup but here's some quick specs:
* Sits approx 2" below roof-line of tacoma
* Shown with stock 265/70/R16 and stock backspacing (obvious crude placeholders)
* 63 qt ARB Fridge
* 2 deep cycle batteries
* tacoma width axle
* 4' x 7' tub
* large 4 person RTT
* Built out of 2x2 steel tubing
These are mostly just rough place holders, and it will be a long time before I purchase any items remotely close to these.
So my issue at the moment is the main cargo area. It's roughly 5'x4'x2', I'm contemplating whether I should leave it open, or if I should try to design some sort of integrated drawer system. Any input is appreciated! Also any critique you may have on the current design is also nice, I'm using this as an excuse to get Solidworks practice in as well as eventual welding experience.
