Introduction and turn signal help

Hello everyone. I've been lurking for years, and I have finally decided to introduce myself. I own a 2003 Jeep Wrangler and little by little have started to convert it for expedition use. I live in Chicago and use my Jeep as a DD. I wanted to say that this forum is great for new people learning, and the members are very supportive. Now I have what hopefully will be an easy question. Last week I went thru an automatic car wash which ripped my passenger rear taillight off, and left it hanging from the wires. This shorted out my turning signals. My misfortune gave me the opportunity to install flush mounted LED's. I did the online research and braved the hole saw to the tub and did really well considering I'm still learning. I wired in 4" LED trailer lights, and I cut square holes in my factory bumper to recess $17 O'Reilly cheapy fog lights for reverse lights. All lights work properly except my turn signal will not flash. I have parking lights but no hazards. I can press the break and manually flash the rear turns, but the front does not blink. I know the flasher module doesn't recognize LED's, but for $12 I replaced it to make sure it did not short from the car wash water getting in the light. I've rechecked all connections and grounds and have exhausted my knowledge. Any help/advice would be appreciated. And I'm including an in-progress pic before I clean the cuts on the bumper and paint and install the license plate light/bracket.

I'm not sure exactly how it works, but I think when you are doing an LED conversion there is some sort of bias that makes the LEDs work with the regular bulbs. I'd also check the obvious and make sure that the fuse\relay for the turn signal circuit isn't toast.
