ipad 3rd gen, black, 64GB, verizon 4G- great for gps

selling my barley used Ipad 3 in color black, 64GB with verizon 4G capable part number mc756ll/a. I recently found out that you don't even need to buy a data plan to use the GPS for apps as the chipset works the same with or without a plan. See here for details http://forum.tlcfaq.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=26 but its in almost perfect condition and i never used the charger or usb. I see these selling for 325-350$ on ebay so how about 300$ shipped CONUS.

Hard to keep the models straight. It goes IPad 1, 2, Retina, Air? So this is a Retina? Or did I miss a year? I was thinking that the Retina models had the new lightning plug not the older wide plug. Could you clarify for us? I'm interested too.

Thanks.

The first year of iPad with Retina was Gen3. Air is really Gen5. I have the Gen3 and it has the old plug design.
