Is it possible somehow someway to run a dirtbike with a flatbed pop-top camper?
The hump on the rear has me thinking no. And I also haven't found many examples of this, so I figured it doesn't hurt to ask...

Anyone running a flatbed camper with a dirtbike?

I think it should be doable, given how high the tray and "hump" usually is on a flatbed. It would mean sacrificing departure angle, of course...

A little googling gets me to this:

Which doesn't look particularly complicated.

ah yeah, I chatted with Phil on that setup he had to use an extension. but those sketch me out. maybe a custom fabricated extension would be better?

I think it's just a matter of geometry. You need have the bike clear the back of the camper, so either you need it to sit farther aft, or a little lower down. Depending on the easiest way to tie into the Truck frame, just do it in the way that has the shortest lever arms...

Curious, are you ditching your box or changing out the whole truck?

The versahaul allow you to move the trey and would clear the camper with the bike. No extension was required. I searched my photos for a picture shot from the side but don’t see one. I’m in the camper now but don’t have the dirt bike on this trip.

Interesting, if you get a chance in the future to snap some photos let me know.
I have a Rack N Ride (https://racknride.com/) and it has 2 points that are about 3-4inches apart to use. going to test it out this weekend with a friends camper.
