Perhaps I am overly suspicious, but if it seems to good to be true...it probably is.

how do you spell scam? 1-5-0-0-f-o-r-a-1-9-9-9-d-i-s-c-o... i would say that there is a 99% chance it is a scam... although i bought my rangie for $2500 with 106K miles on and ALL receipts since new, including the original dealer invoice b/c the guy was being moved to japan by his employer...

Maybe it needs it's regular service and they can't afford the $5,000 for the oil change at the LR dealership. :hehe:

When I was looking for a Disco I for my son, clean ones with 100-150k were in the $3500-$4500 range. It seems at 100K or so there is a big chance of head/valve problems and the 10 to 13 mpg with preimum gas killers the resale value.
NO personal experence, just 'internet information' gleamed during my search, so no flames please. So perhaps it is not a scam, and might be worth looking at. Heck it is a LR and they are :26_7_2:

Maybe it is just an advertising gimmick.... he got you to click on the ad right? Now he wants you to call him with a "reasonable offer"
