The folks at Xtreme Off-Road are converting an Isuzu 2wd into a Dakar Rally-inspired support truck. The plan is to replace the Isuzu axles with pieces from a Ford F350 4x4, replace the Isuzu four cylinder diesel with a six cylinder Cummins, add an Advance Adapters transfer case, and build a Dakar-style service body.
