So if I understand correctly - the Isuzu NPR (aka ELF overseas?) is legal to license for the road in Canada? If so, why go the JDM 15 year old import route. Why not just order a 4x4 NPR?

Canada Rules

The import laws in Canada only allow a vehicle 15 years or older to be legally imported, licensed and insured here in Canada! Hopefully one day that will change.

and as a sideline, I would imagine buying a NEW NPR 4x4, and doing a camper conversion would cost much more than 30k!
