JLEMOND over on www.planetisuzoo.com is a good start. www.idependent4x.com makes Isuzu stuff but theres not alot in the way of aftermarket for the ole 84-86 years. Junkyards become your new hang outs. Planetisuzoo is the best source of Isuzu related info I know of..There is always somebody with some better ideas on there..

Ok I will hit it up soon. I am not looking at modding out the trooper as I have two modified rovers for fun stuff. Just looking at getting the thing running and driving again for my dad.

JLEMOND I guess was/is an Isuzu mechanic or tech. I believe he bought like a whole warehouse of Isuzu parts when Isuzu left the US. He knows pretty much everything there is to know about isuzus. The nice thing about the Old Troopers is that they are simple.

You know, I thought about it, but since my Trooper is my expedition/camping vehicle, I honestly like it nice and clear. Not to mention that it would be a pricey tint job.

I have an 89 and Tinted all the way around. My rational was I wanted the inside cool when the temps go up. With so much Glass area the AC can't keep it cool minus tint. I also like the looks and a bit of Privacy.

I must admit visibility goes down looking out the back when it gets dark.. Clear is much better for that.

You have a beautiful rig....So hard to find a clean no rust late model.

Thanks. Yeah, it's crazy. There is no rust at all. She's in awesome shape. I have BIG plans for her as well. The PO said the truck has been in Reno since day 1....and if you have ever been here than you know your spit dries up before it hits the ground!

Please keep us posted on how the rig develops. As money is available I will continue to improve mine. (bumpers and a top rack like yours are on my want list) I don't see myself getting rid of mine.

It's in too good of condition and goes everywhere I need it to go...I consider it on the same level as the other rigs I run with. At a fraction of the cost.
