you can remove the links on the rear sway bar and leave it there just fine. its on the axle and won't move any.

on the front end you will need to remove the 4 bolts holding the sway bar on the body. its fairly easy to remove.

The shocks I have are these....

Bilsteins...

As to the sway bar....can I just remove the links and let the sway bar sit there?

on the front you won't get anymore travel out of the bilstien struts. i talked to the company about the struts and he said they are just an OEM replacement. so you can remove the front sway bar and not have any issues other then more body roll.

on the rear those look to be OEM length replacements. you will probably only have about 10" of travel in the rear. you should not need to get the drop brackets for your brake lines.

that said. go check by flexing your suspension and making sure your lines are not to short.

It is nearly Halloween so I am going to raise the dead thread...

Getlost4x4, what happened to the commander? Can you give an update on where you left things with the XK?

I see your sig says you have a Land Rover now.
