I don't have sound here, so I can't comment on any specifics of the video. However, an amphibious Jeep named "Half-Safe" is damned hilarious.

If any of you find a Ford GPA for sale rusting away in some backyard let me know. they are very rare and very desirable in the collector community. They are in the jeep family but were only built by ford. Man I want one to go with my GPW but as I have never seen one and have yet to see one for sale in person. Seen them in the collectors magazines for big $.

The tale of half safe is truly remarkable. If you wounder where they kept the gasoline for 30 days of continuous running. I rember seeing a picture of half safe towing a string of 55 gallon drums behind her in the ocean. a jeep only gets 15 mpg the tank was 15 gal. not nearly enough to run for 30 days. on the water the mpg is even worse. just think of the drag all the running gear creates.
