Jeep JK airbag kit with 4” lift

I tow a lot with my Jeep and have a 4” long arm Terraflex lift. I’ve been really trying for a long time to figure out how to air bag the rear springs to help with sag. I think I finally have it perfect so wanted to post in case anyone else is wanting to do the same. The air springs I found after trying a few that works best is the Firestone #6003. The spring kit was #4108 for a dodge 1500 that includes all the hoses clamps etc.

You can either go manual and set it up with the manual air fills or I went with the in cab controller from airlift #25854.

System works great but I am going to swap the bags around and have the air lines go through the top. Had to cut off the long points in the Terraflex top spring bushings.

For some reason I can’t post pics so ended up putting controller in the spot between the stick shift and the cup holders that has the little rubber tray.

I used the Firestone kit on my stock rear coils. Both bags plumbed together. Bike pump to adjust the psi. I like it a lot. I have since added a Rancho Sport leveling kit. I will be adding a new Firestone kit as soon as I find the right part number for the new springs.

Bags have been working perfect. Have pressure to zero as a daily driver and have pulled multiple loads ranging bags from 5-15 psi.

Maybe the Firestone bags are different, but it's been my experience that with zero pressure AirLift bags can rotate in the springs over time, which twists the supply line and eventually can ruin the line. This happened to me in my LJ when a bag developed a leak and I didn't notice it (it was before I had a gauge to monitor the pressure). The Airlift instructions say that minimal pressure of about 5 psi should always be kept in the bags. But maybe something about the Firestone bags is different and they're ok to run with zero PSI.
