Thats what I was thinking, if you are going to pull stuff apart anyway, start with something like this and build to your own specs.

that is literally the only way i would buy a JK... I just dont like the motor or tranny, or mostly anything that they come with.. it would be a custom build from a bare tub and frame for me...

I would find a used 2007/2008 Mercedes 3.0l diesel engine and put that in there....they have DPF deletes now for that engine.
