I had an 18gal Long Ranger auxilliary tank installed in my JKU, and then had a skid plate to protect it installed as well. If anyone is interested in a serries of photos showing the installed tank and then the skid plate, I'd be happy to post them.

The tank works great and extends my over the road range to about 500 miles.

I'll try to get the photos posted today.

What is the total cost to get one over to the US?
Cybercat, I recall something like $1750 or so to where I work - which has a commercail shipping/receiving yard (cost would be more to a residence.) I ordered mine through ARB. The US made GenRight auxilliary tank, which holds 20gals, costs about the same all in, because you need to buy the Jeep in tank pump to complete the installation, whereas the Long Ranger comes complete. Also, the GenRight requires exhaust modifications on a stock JK or JKU and also removal of the rear below deck storage cubby costs might be more all in.

My Jeep has a Hemi so there were some exhaust modifications needed - there are none for a stock JK - and Long Ranger came out with their armored tank just after I got my non-armored tank. The rear differential skid plate on my Jeep needed to be modified to fit the Long Ranger as well. The GenRight comes with a skid, btw.
