Jeep Wrangler JKU roof rack wiring

I just installed a Gobi Rack on my JKU, need to run electrical wiring to back up
Lights in the rear, just want to see how people are running the wiring from inside the jeep up to the rack.

Some run it through the cowling.

Ran my wiring through the rear support brace, however Gobi has the tubing blocked in the middle section, as I ran the wiring up and then across on the outside. The wiring comes out from the bottom of my tail light, I drilled a small hole.
