I want to mount Jerry Can holders in the bed of my truck, Looking for suggestions on possible places to mount them and best places to purchase mounts?

I built this the other day. It holds four euro cans. I haven't mounted it in the truck yet, but it was sized to go ahead of the passenger wheel-well in the bed. ' It tucks the spouts under the bed rail. The cans overlap my 4' wide 'bed' area on the floor ( carpet covered 4' wide plywood ) by about 1-2".

I built my own as well. I have a build thread called "My Bronco build Thread" that shows what I did. I strarted with a Harbor Freight ATV rack and welded in some "real steel" so it would support something. The rack is in process but the pics will be updated as the work flows. Hope this helps

I like them, Where would be the best place to mount them?

You'd have to play with that a little bit. It depends on the available space you have in the bed given the wheel wells, and how accessible you want the cans. Do you want to be able to get to them via the tailgate or not, do you have a shell mounted on the bed that would stop side access?

The holders can be mounted upright or on laying down, which changes the foot print. They can also be mounted as singles or in banks, so depending on the space available and the number of cans you want to carry there could be various scenarios e.g. a single bank of 4 cans, two banks of two holders, one bank of two and two singles etc.

Here's one of my favorite jerrycan holders... On one of the course vehicles I see every year at the Monaco Grand Prix. An aging, hard-working Hilux 4WD with with solid axles, split rims, and a bed lined in checkerplate.
