JK mud flaps

One of the biggest complaints I have had in my JK when towing or even using a cargo carrier is the amount of stuff the tires kick up. I have tried my own home made solutions and they all looked hideous and worked marginally. Couple months ago while getting some replacement parts for my suspension lift I saw these on terraflex’s web site. Ordered them and they have worked out way above expectations so wanted to share. I get asked about these all the time but have not seen much info on them. Tires in my JK are 35”. Easily adjustable, and extremely simple to install. They also remove in a couple seconds by twisting the outer nut with only the mounting plate staying in the Jeep. Took about 5 minutes to install as well

I like it! I'm going to get the AEV flaps that go with their bumper, and the Mopar flaps for the front. Hopefully this makes a difference this winter. They'll come off in the Spring.... probably.

I have that setup. You have to drill your front fenders to mount the Mopar flaps. I also have a rust issue with the AEV bumper so now I can't remove the AEV flaps.

I have the stock flaps mounted in the stock position on the front, but modified stock rear to fit my rear Smittybilt bumper. They sit higher, I heat bended them back for tire clearance, and made a little filler piece.

I have the stock Mopar ones on the front - and while they do a good job of keeping most mud off the doors, they are probably more trouble than they are worth.

Every time they snag on a rock or a log they pull back on the entire (stock) fender, tearing it.

I have torn one in half, and the other almost right off.

So far gorilla tape and zip ties are keeping the fenders and mud flaps on, but it's not a long-term solution.

Have the aev's and have not been kind to them. Have had 2-3" tree branches wedged between them the fender and the tire and they haven't been damaged yet.
