JK over the door water leak.

Dose anyone else have any fixes for the water leak that JK get over the door jams? I'm Tired of Evey time it rains having to Dry out the jeep and wipe off the doors. It seams to be coming from the corner where the door and windshield come together. It then drips from about 4in from the windshield and down the door onto the floor. It's done this on both my 2007 and my 2012 hardtop or soft top. My 1998 never once leaked water. Go figure.

The dealer diagnosed my leak as the door weather seals. Same area as your leak. Plus my soft top is seperating at the seams. Since it is out of warranty and the leaking top issues have been fixed before they agreed to do a goodwill warranty. What a rip off! They were going to replace the two front door weather seals and replace the soft top fabric. Total was $1000.00 and I would have to pay half. I found all the parts online and it would only cost me $169.00 for the top(Mopar OEM) and $80.00 x 2 for the weather seals(Mopar OEM). For a total of $350.00 with shipping. So the goodwill warranty, isn't much of a deal.

I added a piece or two of foam weather seal to push the seal out a bit. Took care of mine. Mine mostly leaks with the soft top.

I've had mine leak like crazy and also had it not leak a drop. Whenever I remove the door surrounds the next time it rains after I put them back on I have to mess with them. I usually loosen the 2 screws and twist it a bit from the top side towards myself then retighten. Sometimes it won't tighten right and I have to swap the 2 screws around for some reason. I have no idea why but this does seem to make a difference. Good luck!
