A lot of times after you get some miles the brake pads get worked up against the caliper pistons. Just a slight bit of clearance will let the pads ''creep'' slightly when applying the brakes which can result in a nice set of sqeakes....Go to any auto supply store and pick up a bottle of anti-sqeake compound, it comes in a small squeeze bottle or tube.(It's a high-temperature silicone compound). Remove the 2 caliper bolts, slide the caliper off each rotor and slide each brake pad out one at a time. Look at the back of the pad, it will show where the piston has been contacting it. Squeeze a bead of the compound on the affected area and let cure according to the directions on your container. Reassemble and do the other front caliper, you may not have to do the rear. Hope this helps....

I also have this when I slightly touch the brakes. If I press them harder it stops. The first couple times I experienced it I thought it was a bad axle seal or something. On this topic, how many miles should I get out of the factory pads with 35's?

If it drives you crazy, compound the back of the pads. If it doesn't keep on wheeling......

Can anyone say how many miles we should expect the stock pads to last with 35's??

----UPDATE----PROBLEM SOLVED----

after having this anoying problem ,I followed the suggestion to compound the back of the pads..

proceeded to take of tire ,,the caliper "2 bolts " , then removed the retaining clips for the pads and they came out easy ,, I was surpriced to see the ware paterns, ,very obvious,,,, then I applied CRC brake quiet ,,"kind of pinkish cream" to the back of the pads ,,waited 6 ,minuts to "tacky" then assembled back,,also aplying lythyum grease to the retaining clips on both sides.

and walla ....problem solved ,,,

thanks!!

PS,,also this gave me the chance to prove that my stock lift jack works with terreflex BB and 33 inch tires,,,NO need for a high lift jack.
