JK rear storage / fridge slide

Started working on some rear storage for my Jeep. I wanted a slide for my fridge and a drawer to store my tool bag, spare fluids, tow strap and camping stuff. I used the combo slide from AT. I wanted the drawer to be deep enough to hold a jug or two of gear oil standing up.

I used full extension drawer slides rated at 500#. The inside of the drawer is covered with the same Polymat that I covered the rest of the storage box with. I used tee nuts to mount the slides to the drawer and box.

I cut a door into the top so that when the drawer is fully open I can access the factory storage cubby. I'll keep stuff I don't need often down there like jumper cables, etc.

Its not 100% done yet. I'm going to paint the sides of the drawers black so they don't stand out so much. I'm also going to add some pieces in the drawer so I can put dividers in and maybe build a removable tray that sits on top of them.

Here's some part #'s for the stuff I used.

Got the latches from McMaster-Carr
1065A43 Recessed-Ring Pull-to-Open Latch. $16.25/ea.

Got the slides from www.orrorr.com
Item #: H-8432 30", 500# rated, non locking $75.50/pair.
Just an FYI in case you order these. The mounting holes that bolt the slides to the cabinet are sized for 5/16" bolts, the holes for bolting the slides to the drawer are sized for 10-32 machine screws.

I got the Polymat and glue from www.bargainshore.com
15'x4' black Polymat and 2 cans of glue for $45,free shipping.
