JKS Manufacturing has just introduced the Front Trackbar Brace, a weld-on reinforcement brace for the front axle of 2007+ Jeep Wrangler JK models. This product solves a critical problem with the factory track bar bracket. A number of cases have been reported in which the bracket has failed under heavy loading and separated from the axle housing. The problem can occur without warning, rendering the vehicle unsafe to drive or completely immobilized.
To eliminate this threat, JKS Manufacturing has developed the Front Trackbar Brace. Its form-fitting design reinforces the factory bracket to make your track bar mount virtually indestructible. The product is welded directly to the axle housing at multiple points, providing an extremely strong and permanent solution. As a side benefit, the Front Trackbar Brace relocates the steering damper to a more effective position that improves clearance and protects the damper from impact off-road. A secondary mounting location for the track bar is also provided to accommodate high-clearance steering conversions.
