JKU *15-17 Subwoofer with storage drawers?

Just bought a 2017 JKU which has the upgraded Alpine sound system which means the subwoofer is in the floor of the cargo area.

Has anybody been able to relocate that subwoofer to another area so that you can put in drawer system?

I kept it where it is and added the goose gear floor plate and have an ARB Fridge on a slide on one side. I will be eventually adding in a drawer system from Goose Gear on the other side.

I dont have any issues with the audio at all. Not sure what would happen with a drawer system but i would suspect it wouldnt be much different than it is now.

Wonder if there is a way to still maintain the factory plastic wit that floor system.

There is a guy making a subwoofer cabinet that will fit under the driver and passenger side for a slim mount 10" subwoofer. I can't remember who, but pretty sure it was on Wrangler Forum.
A search over there, should bring up the thread on this, if you are interested.

No you cannot use the goose gear system with the plastic pieces still back there. Have to take them out to get the floor plate in. You could make one yourself and use the plastic. I had a homemade one of plywood before I switched over.
