Hey guys.

Some of you have been following various threads on our prototypes as we get nearer to production on the JKU Sleeper. I wanted to let you know I have posted the latest update a few minutes ago here. I should have more pics of the install tomorrow afternoon or Friday as we will be using the Jeep this weekend and sleeping on the new prototype. I will let you know how it goes. :wings:

it looks nice but what does it do that an air mattress can't? I understand you can have storage under it, but is that the only advantage? I can normally pack my gear in the front seat areas and around the edges.

It offers several advantages including the obvious of not having to move your gear to have a place to sleep. In addition, the cargo area of a Wrangler is not flat even with a Chasm Cover. With the front seats slid forward and tilted, there is slightly over 6ft of flat sleeping surface along with a very comfortable 2 part foam mattress. Lastly, it provides protection for your gear. When installed, it provides a complete cover from the back of the front seats to rear tailgate covering all your gear. While granted, it is not for everyone, it does offer a nice alternative to having to either unfold a RTT or move all ones gear and inflate an air mattress. One can just crawl into bed and sleep...
