Super stoked...been looking and debating and pondering and this just sorta fell in my lap yesterday. I am mounting in a regular bed full size truck with Thule adjustable racks. Was hoping to be able to raise and lower the racks as needed was also hoping to have enough room to keep surf boards up there as well as the RTT...not sure that will all work out for me. SO...I am now pondering side or rear opening or maybe build a custom bed rack OR something that hangs below the top of the Thule racks so I can still use the racks as surf board racks (I know I would have to remove the boards to open the tent but that is no biggie really.

Anyone have any pickup rack and RTT setups they can post pics of? Just looking for some idears ya know.

I built a bed rack to keep the tent flush with the top of the cab. You could carry surfboards with a rack on the roof of cab, if you're willing to remove them to open the tent.
