Just got our two vivotabs unlocked and im going to get 2 sim's for them. 5 dollars a month, and we will probably not go over 25 dollars a month for them.

Ok, sim cards are what the device uses to connect to LTE services. For Canada, Bell, telus and rogers are the big players, in the states, at&t, T mobile and a few others. I am using telus as my mobility service provider. My basic plan is 5 dollars a month per tablet, and as I use data per month, I pay for what I use. The point of doing this is that I have my tablets fully connected anywhere there is mobile service. This is great for when we are camping close to mobile towers so we can having our weather, news, travel plans all at our fingertips.

I understand what you said, but I dont see how this is different than my ipad. I have a data plan and anywhere there is cell service I have connectivity. Right now I use Verizon, but certainly not in love with them. How does your setup differ from mine, other than IOS and I'm assuming Android on your end?

No I'm running windows. Its exactly the same, however the rules have changed recently with at & t and I finally got my tablet unlocked. The only other difference is the fact the iPad is so locked down.
