Just picked up 2015 Taco, bigger tire/wheel question in regards to TC/ABS

Just picked up my new Taco, and getting ready to start building it up, I have heard that with some other vehicles (jeeps mainly) and some bit older model Tacos, issue with the traction control and ABS when installing, say, 33" tires on the new Tacos? If so, what is the cure to this? Anything else I really need to pay attention too that messes with the stock instrumentation and such? Obviously larger tires will change speedo accuracy, but anything that will mess with the computers? Much thanks in advance.

My basic plan is an ICON stage 5, bumpers, winch, some lighting, and the basics really, I have a "plan" for a rack and RTT, but that's going to be a more involved project for down the road a bit.

Usually just bolt on and go. Occasionally people have issues with the stability control, but the dealer should be able to recalibrate the system if needed. The only time I had an issue was cornering hard with a camper on the truck, and didn't have the Trac control disabled. However the first thing I do in every car is disable traction control when I start it, so that could be why mine hasn't been an issue.

Speedo slightly off, but everything will work fine, just slower.

I think it is refered to as zero point calibration. I'm wondering if it has something to do with people lifting the front 3" and barely touching the rear, not really sure. Either way the calibration seems to help most folks.

Plugging away, CBI front bumper, skid plates, rock sliders all painted up with air cure Cerakote. Warn 10s winch.

Front end taken off

And all mounted up

And the first part of the skid plate

For the most part, it all went together pretty well, I had a momentary panic attack when the sway bar rubbed on the lower bumper sub frame braces. Between the Icon sway bar relocation blocks, the added thickness of the reservoir brackets and the bumper brackets, the sway bar was rubbing a fair amount. But once the braces were removed and the skid plate was installed, no rubbing.

Ordering lightbars, a Blue Sea fuse block, and still need to decide on tires and wheels.

You're just going to work on the new hotness and take pictures of it right there in front of the 60 series with the For Sale sign on it? Cold blooded gangster.

Anyway, it looks awesome, you're off to one helluva start.
