Just found this site and I have to say BADA$$. Well I am not new to expeditions at all as it is my job and hobby (life can be SO hard). Currently I just picked up my new build a 1988 F-250 with a 7.3L. Don't worry I will keep you guys updated. I have added some pics of it and a few of previous "expeditions".

Welcome!

If this is your first 7.3 prepare to fall in love with it they are incredible motors with an amazing power curve! My friend and I just installed an ATS 088 turbo system on his, and it bumped the rear wheel horse power to 210 :wings: Is yours the five speed? Can't wait to see what you do with it.

Thanks for the welcome guys and thanks for the appreciation. As for the truck no its not my first 7.3 (I have a 2000 PSD) but it is my first IDI. Yes it is a 5 speed 4wd I am doing a run through of the truck first to remove all possible issues and make sure its in good running shape. The IDI is getting a full rebuild with upgrades. I have a np205/203 dual T case going into it also. I am planning on a custom built shell with a flip top tent similar to the earth roamer XV JP but without the over cab. Plus whatever else I come up with. Any ideas on beefing up the twin beam 4wd without going to a soild axle swap?

There's a wealth of information here and if you need some further advise with your idi try over here--http://www.oilburners.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=34.
Looking forward to your build.

Oilburners is a great site which I am also a member of, and while I am not saying a bad word one about the site I have to say this one is my favorite forum so far.
