KYB Shocks $40 off 4 Rebate

Just thought I'd share as I was browsing rockauto and noticed that KYB is offering $40 off when you buy 4 shocks. Some of the fine print states that all 4 shocks have to be on the same invoice and must be purchased between 3/1 and 4/30/16. Price of 4 Gas-a-justs minus 5% coupon shipped to me looks like $122.51 and minus the $40 rebate for a total of $82.51.

I might try a set of the GR2 for a bit more of a comfy ride compared to the Monomax I have on there now. Not sure if I want to give up the nice handling through corners though hmmm.

Thanks for the heads up! Anyone have any reports on how they like the GR2 vs the Monomax? I'm running Monomax at the moment and feeling kinda "meh" about them.

What about the KYB Gas-A-Just shocks? Anyone have these installed on their Montero? I'm looking to replace my OEM shocks that have 160,000 miles....

Looking for that thing i just had in my hand...
Ran KYB Gas-A-just for a lot of years on a lot of different Monteros. Really like them, but then I got Bilstein 5100s and they were a lot better. Next I'm going to the 7100s with remote reservoir.

Are the gas-a-just compatible with the adjustable stock shocks on the Gen 2 SR?? Like would the soft medium hard button work with them?

Are there any that are compatible with the adjustable shocks?

I could be wrong but I believe the only shocks that can utilize the SOFT-MED-HARD electric adjustement... are the OEM shocks.

There was a thread I remember reading a ways back that said the OEM shocks were available from parts.com
Anyone know of another way to get new OEM shocks?
