Land Rover 110 300tdi

Sold.

Sadly, life is dictating that the 110 needs to go on to its next owner. I need something that works better for transporting our kid and I just simply don't have the time to continue building this truck up. Plus, the desire to put an addition on the house is trumping the desire for pricey toys.

1983 110 300tdi/R380/LT230Q.

The truck was functionally restored in the UK before it came over here last year, it's RHD. It has a new bulkhead, new outriggers and a new rear crossmember. There's the slightest surface rust on the doors, but the truck is very, very clean. It also received new exmoor trakker seats and a new station wagon rear door in the UK.

Since I've gotten it I've installed a D2 1.2 LT230Q box which allows the truck to drive comfortably on the highway. At the same time I swapped over to a d2 front driveshaft and d2 parking brake. The radiator was in bad shape when I got it, it's now got a new, wider radiator, external oil cooler and full-width intercooler. The truck is fast, reliable, runs cool and still doesn't have the fueling turned up.

Now for the accessories:
Safari Gard front bumper
3x hella 4000s
Warn 10k winch with synthetic line
2" of lift, RTE front, Britpart rears, Koni shocks
238 GY MTs that are very recent on black steelies
NAS steering wheel
NAS Matte wheel arches
VDO guages: tach, volt, water temp, oil pressure
Tuffy center console
Hella Horns
Diamond Plate fender and hood
New Alpine Ipod player, New speakers in front door
Conversion to NAS front door cards
Exmoor waterproof covers
ARB fridge mount in between rear seats
Roveraccessories rear hitch
Armored rear diff cover
Sliders partially complete
Trailer wiring harness
Fresh exhaust
Rear Ladder
Thule cross-bars
Updated rear side windows
5bar rear door panel with folding table, fire extinguisher, light and (all important) bottle opener.

What it needs:
The sliders are half built
The front door latches need to be installed
2 guages need to be hooked up
right rear hub is weeping

The truck has EPA and DOT releases and is registered as an antique in VA.

Note that the pictures below do not show the installed ladder and cross bars.

Price: I'm not foolish enough to think that I'd ever get what I have into this truck out of it. I'd like to see $26,500 out of the truck, but I'm interested in a portion of that being in the form of a built D2/D1/P38, maybe even an NAS SW. I'll entertain all reasonable suggestions. I'm not interested in parting the truck out. Located in Northern Virginia.

Thank goodness it isn't auto or I would have serious desire syndrome :)
Good luck with the sale, that is my dream rig!

Lance I have a ZF auto with the adapter plate for a 300tdi. Be willing to let it go for a couple of diesel parts. ;-)

Seriously, we could make it happen.

cheers

I'm obviously happy to provide whatever level of coordination. Additionally I can have it shipped virtually anywhere for $1.50/mile it appears.

A question on another forum reminded me that I didn't mention the auxilliary fuse box we installed. It currently powers the horns and one or two other sub-systems, plenty of room for expansion.

Oh how I wish..
and it would solve my payload issues..
but I would still be stuck without the ability to take out folks in power wheelchairs or those who can't lift themselves or that I can't lift into the seat.
Thus a Sportsmobile is my next rig.

But oh how I dream of someday owning a 110...too many tv shows in my childhood that featured these rigs traveling around the world.
