I know this is an old thread but I found your post while looking for a solution
to the famous Defender Hood problem.

Posts on D90 mentioned using a series hood latch.

Difficult it adapt to your 130 ?
I have a 97 ROW 110... I'm hoping its not that difficult of a job.
I'd like to save cutting up my truck, but the hood cable, as you probably know is a pain.


I'm searching for one now...but wonder why you didn't install it on your 130.
