Opal was not a problem but Last Chance Canyon was harder than I remember from my last visit.

We took Nightmare all the way through to Opal. A few hours before we got down to Last Chance Canyon, two BIG Jeep groups (over 80 Jeeps) had gone through the canyon and it was torn up pretty good, with boulders strewn all over it. Fun at night!

How was the water hole?
This is from a few years ago. It was a fresh landslide that blocked the canyon creating a small lake. We spent at least two hours throwing boulders into the lake to provide a firm surface to drive on in the mud.

No water, just some damp mud.
