Anyone know of a good Landy shop or mechanic in Costa Rica? I'm looking to buy and keep one down there, but need a good mechanic to work with. We go down 3 to 4 times a year and would find it very beneficial to have our own Land rover there. Tired of spending near $1K a week for junk that has crap tires and dampers, and no winch.
We need a good mechanic so owning a car in central america doesn't turn into the weekend get-a-way house paradox, where you spend all your free time working on the thing...
I've tried contacting Mi Landrover but no response back. If I cannot find a Landy mechanic I may go the Land Cruiser route. What ever leads you have would be great, around central valley or central coast.
