A quick trip up Mt Whiteface, one of the (48) 4000'ers in NH. This was a day hike ~ 9 mi. Weather was balmy for Dec 30...about 20 deg F on the summit. Snow shoes not required...we have a strange (and unfortunate) lack of snow so far this year in New England, crampons needed up top. Enjoy;
