great trip John, thanks for organizing it. Too bad we didn't get down into the valley, but that can be another trip. Feeling much better about the 4Runner after another trip ... some of the wimpiness is leaving. Anyway, here's a few pics ...

Track bar problems forced me to turn around right after the pass, and with the approaching storm, everyone else decided to turn around as well.

It's one of my favorite trails. It can be a long one. I've done it in 5-1/2 hrs and I've done it in 10 hrs, just depends on how things go and how much you stop to talk or play on obstacles.

That is the cell that produces the flash flood on the south side in Bear Canyon. 2 folks died in that flood.
