What are my options for storing 5 cans laying down, caps up and forward on the top of the rack?

I see frontrunner has a dual can solution that looks nice, just seeing if there are other options

4 water 1 gas. I have a 10 gal tank on board for showers and a heated shower setup

though, I find it funny you see that roof rack, and a winch mounted, and are flummoxed by 5 jerry cans? lol

wood or metal?
skeletal or boxed?
locking strap or tie down points?

I did a wood box build for inside my Suburban, probably isn't what you have in mind but might spawn some ideas.

I like the work you are doing with your Subaru. Many, many moons ago I helped a buddy turn his Datsun B210 into a 'rally car'. He'd fallen in with our pack of ne'er-do-wells and we all had 2wd minitrucks that we offroaded the heck out of in the high desert and he wanted to join us. But the B210 was what he had to work with. Put a row of KC Daylighters on the front, raised his suspension as much as we could, got some Norseman offroad tires on it, made a custom center console for it for CB and other things. Your Subaru is what his car OUGHT to have been. But we were young and poor.
