so this is not really an expedition...but I just booked two tickets for Panama and reserved a small SUV (probably a Suzuki) with Thrifty. We are leaving Friday and I am quit excited...been working too much lately.
My girlfriend is switching job and she has a couple weeks of time off, so this was kind of last notice...I looked into going down to Argentina or Chile but it quickly become too expensive and too much logistics.
This will be my first time in Panama.
Does anyone have suggestions about places to visit? Things to do? Perhaps a little bit of offroad...I am going to buy a couple guidebooks tonight.
Also I will be looking for a house/appartment/condo tonight to rent for the whole duration (preferably with Internet access), so if someone has a hint please feel free to let me know!
