Lid Question for AT Chaser Owners

Is it possible to remove the lid of an AT Chaser temporarily for hauling stuff as a dual purpose trailer?

If so, how easy or difficult is it to do?

Remove one half of the center hinge.
Undo both gas struts.
Rotate to vertical.
Slide off.

Takes two people to remove the lid.
A 10 minute job.
