Lift question!

I've got a 2007.5 (new body style) Chevy Crew Cab 2WD, 4.8 ltr engine. I currently have a front and rear receiver hitch. and a ARE camper shell on it. I want to lift the front up 3" and the rear 2". What lift kits do you guys recommend and why! Also how difficult is it to do by myself? The reason I am wanting to do this is I'm going to be adding a front brush guard grill guard bumper with a winch. Currently I only have 7 inches of ground clearance between the road and the front Class III hitch. I want to increase that so I'm not hitting the ground so often plus with the added weight of the bumper and winch the front is really is going to sag. I also have 285, 75 16 wheels and tires, 10 ply on there now. I DON'T want to go to a taller tire because there really isn't much room in the front for a bigger tire.

We do have a 4X4 customizer shop in town, but I'm sure its expensive. So any recommendations would be deeply appreciated.

4" on my 2002 GMC 2500HD

I have 3"fabtek spindles and reindexed tortion keys up front
and a 4" cast iron block on the rear of my 2002 GMC 2500HD
Rides nice onthe 235-85-16 Hankooks summer, BFG commercial traction Winter
It is also 2wd! Never let me down yet.

I did the mods in the driveway Buy a set of 1/2" or 3/4" metric sockets and a 3' breaker bar to remove factory nuts with thread locker on them.

Very nice Mark, I like it....how much was all the parts? I'm lookin more at spacers between the springs for the front and blocks for the rear. I really don't want to replace spindles and then have to get a front end alignment because of removing parts like that.

Sure like the height on yours....looking real good!

Spindles, $300.00,
rear blocks and u bolts $80.00
torsion keys and shock extenders $100.00
shocks $120.00

I bought it all over time when it was all here I spent the weekend putting it on.
The lift has been on for over 6 years with no ill effects. It rides nice.
